CCP Propaganda and Censorship Tactics on Citizenry

I discuss the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) strategies of censorship and propaganda to control information and manipulate the citizenry in China. I argue that these tactics have strengthened the CCP's authoritarian resilience and prolonged its survival by shaping public opinion, preventing dissent, and avoiding political change. However, I acknowledge that the long-term sustainability of these strategies is uncertain, and a potential dismantling of the CCP could come from external factors such as war rather than internal opposition.

Voting Wait Times in America Given Various Demographics

Using data sourced from the U.S. Census Bureau, I employed a software called Stata to code and analyze the variations in wait times for voting across different racial groups in the 2016 election, which I presented through a PowerPoint presentation. My analysis found that minority groups, particularly Black, Hispanic, Asian, and other races, experienced longer wait times compared to other racial groups, and factors such as income and socioeconomic status played a role in influencing the data. My regression analysis showed a weak relationship between wait time and race, but the t/P scores provided evidence against the null hypothesis, indicating that race does have an impact on wait times.
